Allied Parking Inc to Operate New Electric Vehicle Charging Station at Nordic Ramp

Thanks to Allied Parking, SemaConnect, electric vehicle drivers now have a new spot to charge in Minneapolis. Three SemaConnect Series 6 EV charging stations, open to public use at Nordic Parking Ramp, are now available for electric vehicle drivers who visit the Warehouse District, North Loop and Target Field. All plug-in electric cars, including Tesla, Ford, Nissan and Chevrolet, can be charged at the Level 2 stations.

The Nordic, located at 729 Washington Avenue North is a mixed-use office and retail warehouse building designed by Cushman and Wakefield. The Nordic’s parking ramp has an entrance at 728 North 3rd Street. It is close to many top entertainment and dining destinations, including Thr3 Jack Restaurant and The Freehouse, Modist Brewing Co., Fulton Brewing Taproom and Minneapolis’ own 2022 James Beard Semifinalist for Best New Restaurant Union Hmong Kitchen. It is located just ten minutes away from Target Field, making the Nordic Ramp a convenient spot for electric vehicle drivers to charge their batteries during games.

Interactive LED lighting is used to inform drivers about the status of the SemaConnect Series6 EV charging stations located on the Nordic garage’s second- and third-floor ramps. These stations are connected to the SemaConnect Smart Charging network. They provide information for EV drivers such as pricing, charging information and contact numbers through easy-to-read LCD displays. The SemaConnect mobile application allows drivers to pay for or start a charging session, view charging status and get directions. Allied Parking management has the ability to set station access and pricing and view usage reports via SemaConnect Station Management software.

Nordic Ramp’s SemaConnect charging stations are now available and can be used to charge plug-in electric cars. EV drivers can now charge their vehicles via SemaConnect Pass and SemaConnect app.
