Total Registered Electric Vehicle Sales - Feb '22 - 54,557 | Jan '22 - 49,676

E-2W and E-3W (Cargo & Passenger) vehicles accounted for 51,465 of the total 54,557 electric vehicles sold in February 2022.

- In February 2022, 32,416 high speed E-2Ws were sold, compared to 6083 units in February 2021. Sales of the Electric 3W Passenger Vehicle have reached 16540 units, a 67 percent increase over the same month last year.
- Sales of Electric 3W Cargo Vehicle increased from 2329 units in February 2021 to 2509 units in February 2022, while the sales of electric 4W rose from 592 units to 2933 units over the last year.
The graph shows a steep increase in the sales of electric 2W and electric 3W Passenger in the country over the last one year.

For high speed electric 2W, there had been an M-o-M increase of 18% and 33% for electric 3W Cargo while decrease in electric 3W Passenger by 3%. For E- 3 Wheelers Passenger Vehicle, the top 10 OEM Manufacturers contribute to only 43% of sales in February 2022 and 56% for E-3W Cargo Vehicle.
