Terrago Logistics, a Delhi-based startup, has joined Mahindra Electric Mobility Limited, India’s No.1 electric 3-wheeler manufacturer, to provide logistics services. Terrago currently operates 65 Mahindra Treo Zor cargo trucks with Big Basket in 3 cities, and Porter, a leading logistics company. Mahindra Electric will supply Terrago with additional EVs in the future to expand its zero-pollution fleet.
In India, the Mahindra Treo Zor 3-wheeler cargo Mahindra Treo Zor cargo was introduced in 2020. It has a wide variety of uses depending on its body type. The Zor has a remarkable power output of 8 kW and a high torque of 42 Nm. It is built on the Treo platform and can carry a maximum payload of 550kg. Mahindra’s Treo 3-wheelers have been sold in passenger and cargo segments. It has a 73.4% share of the electric 3-wheeler market. The Treo Zor is also exported to Nepal and the UK. Customers can save more fuel with the Treo Zor than diesel cargo 3-wheelers in five years.
Mahindra Electric Mobility Limited CEO Suman Mishra stated that Terrago was one of the first to adopt our Mahindra Treo Zor 3-wheelers. Treo Zor’s higher fuel savings and zero tailpipe emissions make it attractive for companies looking for sustainable and efficient modes of transport for last-mile delivery. This partnership will help us accelerate our carbon-neutral goals and lay the groundwork for others to adopt electric mobility.
Terrago Logistics is a phygital business that provides logistics solutions for multi-modal transport, warehouse and last-mile delivery via electric vehicles to the F&B and consumer goods as well as industrial goods and paper industries.
