MG Motor India announced the launch of its all-new ZS EV. The EV offers an updated range of 461 km in a single charge and comes with more powerful 50.3 kWh advanced battery as compared to the 2021 model which has a 44.5 kWh battery and a certified range of 419 km. The battery meets the global safety standards (IP69K & ASIL-D). It is equipped with a new powerful motor that delivers the power of 176PS and accelerates from 0 to 100 in just 8.5 seconds.
The new model will be available in 2 variants (Excite & Exclusive), priced INR 21,99,800 and 25,88,000, respectively. The bookings for exclusive variant are open now, but for excite variant it will start from July 2022. The 2021 model also has two variants Excite and Exclusive priced at INR 20.99 Lakhs and 24 Lakhs respectively. The car is available in 4 exterior colour variants: Ferris White, Currant Red, Ashen Silver and Sable Black.
The car has been restyled with striking exterior design elements, comfortable & premium interior, features like Dual Pane Panoramic Skyroof, Digital Bluetooth® Key, Rear Drive Assist, 360° Camera, i-SMART with 75+ Connected Car features, Hill Descent Control & much more. It also packs a globally certified (ASIL-D, IP69K & UL2580) battery that has passed 8 special safety tests, including fire, collision, dust, smoke, etc., claims MG.

MG Motor has recently launched ‘MG Charge’, where 1000 AC fast chargers will be installed at residential localities across India. In the past, the brand has also partnered with companies like Fortum, Delta, eChargeBays, Exicom, Electreefi and Tata Power to introduce DC and AC fast chargers across the country.
The car is covered under MG eShield for private customers, wherein the automaker provides a free-of-charge 5-year warranty for unlimited kilometres, 8yrs / 1.5 lac KM warranty on the Battery Pack system, round-the-clock Roadside Assistance (RSA) for 5 years, and 5 Labour-free Services.
